Dr. Aurora Gonzalez

Dr. Aurora Gonzalez strives to provide excellent medical care by individualizing every patient without compromising compassionate care. Patient education and face-to-face time with a patient are very important to Dr. Gonzalez.

Dr. Aurora Gonzalez graduated valedictorian from Martin High School in Laredo, TX, and received a Bachelor of Science in Biology degree from Yale University. She earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Joseph Hospital in Houston, TX. She was awarded the Outstanding Chief Resident of the year and has been in private group practice since 2000. Dr. Gonzalez currently is a faculty staff member for the St. Joseph Medical Center Ob/Gyn Residency program.

Dr. Gonzalez practices general obstetrics and gynecology including well-woman examinations, adolescent gynecology, contraceptive counseling, infertility counseling, cervical dysplasia management, dysfunctional bleeding, pelvic pain and endometriosis management. She has special interest in minimally invasive gynecological procedures, female incontinence, female vaginal (bladder/rectal) prolapse, and tubal ligation reversal/ tubal reanastamoses.

Dr. Sharon Vila-Wright

Dr Vila-Wright believes that trust and compassion are key aspects of the doctor patient relationship. Originally from Puerto Rico, she spent most of her childhood in South Florida. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Rice University and was a member of Will Rice College. She earned her medical degree from Wake Forest School of Medicine, and subsequently completed a General Surgery Internship at the Baylor College of Medicine.

After realizing that she wanted to focus on women’s health, she completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at The Reading Hospital and Medical Center in Pennsylvania. During her residency she received multiple teaching awards including the resident teaching award and the medical student teaching award from Thomas Jefferson School of Medicine. She believes that taking care of patients is an honor and a privilege. While enjoying all aspects of Obstetrics and Gynecology, her special interests include minimally invasive surgery, and providing a positive and memorable pregnancy experience. Dr Vila-Wright joined Dr Aurora Gonzalez and Associates in August 2014.

Dr. Stacey Thomas

Dr. Thomas considers it a privilege to help women with sensitive issues throughout different stages of life. She values listening and providing empathetic care, catering to each woman’s unique circumstances. Patient comfort and education are priorities to Dr. Thomas.

Originally from California, Dr. Thomas eventually made the migration South and grew up in Colleyville, TX.  She graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology from Duke University in Durham, NC. Dr. Thomas completed medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, TX, where she developed her passion for community education and women’s health.

Her residency training at Parkland Hospital/University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX cultivated her interest in high-risk obstetrics, minimally invasive surgery (laparoscopic, robotic, vaginal), and complex gynecologic cases. She moved to Houston to join Aurora Gonzalez, M.D. & Associates in August 2014. 

Dr. Thomas has been an active member of the American Congress of Obstetrics & Gynecology, advocating for women’s healthcare.  She enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, and photography.

Dr. Olivia Dziadek

Dr. Dziadek believes that having an obstetrician gynecologist one can confide in is critical to your emotional and physical well-being. So much can be learned from a routine gynecological visit and the physician patient dialogue is crucial to prevention. She enjoys taking the time to learn more about her patients and their needs. Dr. Dziadek grew up in south Texas and have lived in the South, Midwest and Europe, and now have returned home to Houston. She completed undergraduate studies at the University of Houston with a BA in Philosophy, graduating magna cum laude, and medical school at Jagiellonian University. Dr. Dziadek completed residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Medicine. During residency, she rotated at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, completing a Galloway in Gynecological Oncology which further enhanced her interests in cancer prevention and treatment as well as research.

Dr. Dziadek training in residency allowed her to further develop interests in women’s health education, general obstetrics and gynecology, gynecological cancer prevention, general gynecological surgery including vaginal surgery, laparoscopy and robotics in addition to outpatient procedures. She also enjoy high risk obstetrics as well as routine obstetrics and look forward to taking part in this very special time in a woman’s life.

Dr. Dziadek received the Eugene Pearce outstanding resident award as well as Chief resident research award. She also enjoys teaching residents and medical students.

Dr. Dziadek has joined Dr. Aurora Gonzalez and Associates in July 2016.

Dr. Dziadek enjoys traveling, trying out new cuisine as well as swimming.

Dr. Lindsey Golden

Dr. Lindsey Golden has a passion for educating patients about their health and their bodies during illness, in health, and in transitions through different stages of life. Originally from Houston, Texas, Dr. Golden attended University of Houston and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. She earned her medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas. She went on to complete internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio in San Antonio, Texas.

Dr. Golden views it as a privilege to help women through some of the most difficult and rewarding parts of their lives, including pregnancy and childbirth. While enjoying all aspects of Obstetrics and Gynecology, her special interests include prenatal care, pelvic organ prolapse/female urinary incontinence. Dr. Golden enjoys spending time with her husband and traveling.

Dr. Linda Huynh

For Dr. Linda Huynh, the most enjoyable part about practicing medicine is building relationships with women and being an integral part of improving women’s health. The relationship between a physician and her patient comes from the cultivation of trust through education, compassion, and most important of all, mutual respect. She enjoys guiding her patients along throughout every aspect of life.

Dr. Huynh was born and raised in Garland, TX. After attending Baylor University for her undergraduate education, she obtained her medical degree at Ross University School of Medicine. It was in those years that Dr. Huynh developed a passion for women’s health. She completed her training in obstetrics and gynecology at Hofstra University Long Island Jewish Hospital in New Hyde Park, NY.

During her residency, Dr. Huynh was awarded Outstanding Laparoendoscopic Resident Surgeon and Best Teacher Award. She also served as administrative Chief Resident. She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Her interests include the practice of general obstetrics and gynecology, high risk pregnancies, and minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Huynh briefly practiced in Louisiana but has now returned back to Texas with her husband, two daughters, and two beagles. She enjoys traveling, snowboarding, and taking her children to
experience new sights in her spare time.

Dr. Lydia Kao

Dr. Lydia Kao strives to provide non-judgmental, compassionate, and evidence-based care to all women. She was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. Dr. Kao then attended medical school at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. She moved to Texas for residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine. During this time, she became certified in the Fundamentals of Laparoscopic surgery, won the resident of the year award in her second year, and was an inaugural member in the Academy of Resident Educators in her fourth year.

She joined Dr. Aurora Gonzalez and Associates in 2017. Patients visit her for a wide spectrum of common and specialized medical needs, including contraception, endometriosis, pregnancy, or heavy or irregular vaginal bleeding. Her areas of interest include minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and adolescent health. It is important to her to carefully listen to all her patients, and she is eager to serve women at all stages of life. Dr. Kao believes education is essential and aims to provide patients with a clear understanding of normal health and disease processes. Dr. Kao enjoys Crossfit, playing acoustic guitar, and discovering new music.
