Dr. Aurora Gonzalez strives to provide excellent medical care by individualizing every patient without compromising compassionate care. Patient education and face-to-face time with a patient are very important to Dr. Gonzalez.

Dr. Aurora Gonzalez graduated valedictorian from Martin High School in Laredo, TX, and received a Bachelor of Science in Biology degree from Yale University. She earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Joseph Hospital in Houston, TX. She was awarded the Outstanding Chief Resident of the year and has been in private group practice since 2000. Dr. Gonzalez currently is a faculty staff member for the St. Joseph Medical Center Ob/Gyn Residency program.

Dr. Gonzalez practices general obstetrics and gynecology including well-woman examinations, adolescent gynecology, contraceptive counseling, infertility counseling, cervical dysplasia management, dysfunctional bleeding, pelvic pain and endometriosis management. She has special interest in minimally invasive gynecological procedures, female incontinence, female vaginal (bladder/rectal) prolapse, and tubal ligation reversal/ tubal reanastamoses.

Dr Vila-Wright believes that trust and compassion are key aspects of the doctor patient relationship. Originally from Puerto Rico, she spent most of her childhood in South Florida. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Rice University and was a member of Will Rice College. She earned her medical degree from Wake Forest School of Medicine, and subsequently completed a General Surgery Internship at the Baylor College of Medicine.

After realizing that she wanted to focus on women’s health, she completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at The Reading Hospital and Medical Center in Pennsylvania. During her residency she received multiple teaching awards including the resident teaching award and the medical student teaching award from Thomas Jefferson School of Medicine. She believes that taking care of patients is an honor and a privilege. While enjoying all aspects of Obstetrics and Gynecology, her special interests include minimally invasive surgery, robotic surgery and providing a positive and memorable pregnancy experience. Dr Vila-Wright joined Dr Aurora Gonzalez and Associates in August 2014.

Dr. Lindsey Golden has a passion for educating patients about their health and their bodies during illness, in health, and in transitions through different stages of life. Originally from Houston, Texas, Dr. Golden attended University of Houston and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. She earned her medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas. She went on to complete internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio in San Antonio, Texas.

Dr. Golden views it as a privilege to help women through some of the most difficult and rewarding parts of their lives, including pregnancy and childbirth. While enjoying all aspects of Obstetrics and Gynecology, her special interests include prenatal care, pelvic organ prolapse/female urinary incontinence. Dr. Golden enjoys spending time with her husband and traveling.

For Dr. Linda Huynh, the most enjoyable part about practicing medicine is building relationships with women and being an integral part of improving women’s health. The relationship between a physician and her patient comes from the cultivation of trust through education, compassion, and most important of all, mutual respect. She enjoys guiding her patients along throughout every aspect of life.

Dr. Huynh was born and raised in Garland, TX. After attending Baylor University for her undergraduate education, she obtained her medical degree at Ross University School of Medicine. It was in those years that Dr. Huynh developed a passion for women’s health. She completed her training in obstetrics and gynecology at Hofstra University Long Island Jewish Hospital in New Hyde Park, NY.

During her residency, Dr. Huynh was awarded Outstanding Laparoendoscopic Resident Surgeon and Best Teacher Award. She also served as Administrative Chief Resident. She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Her interests include the practice of general obstetrics and gynecology, high risk pregnancies, and minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Huynh briefly practiced in Louisiana but has now returned back to Texas with her husband, two daughters, and two beagles. She enjoys traveling, snowboarding, and taking her children to
experience new sights in her spare time.

As an Obstetrician/Gynecologist, Dr. Chaires Vasquez is honored to provide medical care to women at every stage of life. She is committed to practicing evidence-based medicine and educating her patients in an effort to make the best decision for each individual patient.

Dr. Chaires Vasquez was born and raised in Laredo, Texas, a vibrant city along the Mexican border in South Texas. She graduated valedictorian of her high school in 2008. Thereafter, she attended Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas, and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and minor in Religious Studies. Dr. Chaires Vasquez earned her medical degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 2016. She then pursued her residency at Houston Methodist where she served as Administrative Chief Resident. Upon completion of her residency in 2020, Dr. Chaires Vasquez received The Dr. Perry Klein Outstanding Resident in Obstetrics and Gynecology Award.
Dr. Chaires Vasquez’s medical interests include cervical dysplasia and minimally invasive surgery (laparoscopic and robotic).

Dr. Chaires Vasquez joined Aurora Gonzalez, MD, and Associates in 2020 and is looking forward to serving its patients.

Dr. Chaires Vasquez enjoys baking, doing yoga, exploring the Houston food scene, and spending time with friends and family.

As an advocate for women’s health, Dr. Jennifer Whitelock aims to foster mutual respect and honest communication to build a compassionate relationship with her patients.

She was born in New York and was raised in Florida. She graduated from Harvard University in Boston, where she majored in Biology and obtained a minor in Spanish. She earned her medical degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, IL. While there, she also obtained her Master’s in Public Health. She completed her residency training at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in New Jersey, where she served as a chief resident during her fourth year.

Dr. Whitelock believes that healthy habits such as physical activity and good nutrition can have rewarding benefits to overall well-being and enjoys helping women discover creative ways to be active and balanced. She practices general obstetrics and gynecology and also is interested in robotic surgery and other minimally-invasive procedures. She also enjoys exploring Houston, traveling to oceanside destinations and learning new line dances.
